Dean and David in Dusseldorf

I was often a customer of this dean & david and every time something was missing from the order, whether it was a salad, bowl or flatbreads. In addition, sometimes rude and constantly changing staff. I have often heard legitimate complaints from customers and the staff couldn't handle them and only annoyed the customers even more. I will not come back again!

Ordered the Red Thai Curry with Prawns. Tasty but rather bland and boring. There were four prawns in there (they were decent and deliciously seasoned) and some vegetables. Otherwise a mountain of rice. I could have saved the extra money I paid for the cashew nuts. Overall a bad price / performance ratio.

Worst coffee ever!

The salad I ordered tasted like standard. The service is very rude - no `hello no` bye. They are stingy with dressing and bread as a side dish. Forget cutlery and drink ... The boy with the short sides and southern appearance has absolutely no desire for the job ...

We were not served with a medical certificate, released from the mask for health reasons. Mega discriminatory and unfair. But the waitress is himself at the cash register, the mask under his nose (which is not really effective if they have their way) and demands something from the counterpart that he does not do properly himself.

Unfortunately really unfriendly staff. We stood there for 10 minutes and were not served. When asked, people were yelled at and it was said “go away boy” - unfortunately there is nothing more to say.

Right in the center of the old city of Düsseldorf. It's a great and healthy alternative for someone who doesn't want to eat something unhealthy from the fast food restaurants. Usually there is no much wait. Friendly staff. There are both low and high tables. The portions are also enough to fill you up. Delicious, healthy and nutritious. Salads are also served with bread 😋😉 I would definitely recommend it !!

The salads here really delicious! Huge portion at a fair price. Very great fresh ingredients such as sweet potato, cranberries, avocado, goat cheese ... Highly recommended!

This is the worst and worst restaurant in Altstadt, I never go there to eat again. Unfortunately I have abdominal pain and diarrhea after eating. No taste and very poor quality

The lady behind the counter was downright unfriendly, unhelpful and radiated that she doesn't enjoy her job. Paid almost 3 euros per consumption, the soft drink was lukewarm warm instead of cold. Glasses or straws were not offered. A real recommendation to have something to eat at all. A waste of your money and the mood they ruin of you. Go to the competitor !!!!

Accustomed to the brand, and in particular to this subsidiary, I was very disappointed to find that the service was very unprofessional! It seems to me that the least of things would be to respect the customers and not to openly make fun of them whether it is for their physique, their sex or their voice as it was my case or the case of his colleague, which he also mocked openly. The gentleman at the cash desk today at 12:30 pm should perhaps take courses in business etiquette. Just hateful behavior!

Great salads, healthy and tasty

The employee at the checkout books the dishes to the wrong number and wants to sell you a thousand extras if possible. The two men in the preparation are also completely overwhelmed because of the error of the cashier and also forget ingredients in the dishes. The taste is quite good, but you can even eat better bowls in large quantities at an identical price at a delivery service.

Yummy dishes, plenty of vegan options and happy friendly people working here. There were lots of seating places to sit and enjoy our freshly made fresh ingredients meals. We had the vegan curry bowl and the falafel tahini salad and they were both very delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend!

I was with colleagues at work this week for lunch at "dean & david". Here you will find super prepared, delicious healthy dishes. Including salads, bowls of rice vegetables and meat, smoothies and more. Priced a bit more expensive than the less healthy alternatives in the area but for what you get. This will not be our last visit.

Very tasty, fresh salads and bowls. The quality is also very good! Every dish is freshly prepared. The vegetables are fresh, the shrimp were also fresh with my salad and the bread was also very good! Definitely a top alternative lunch break to McDonald's and co.

Good for vegetarian and vegan food

Hello, I went to the Dean and David location in Dusseldorf (Hunsrückenstraße 44 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany) this morning when it opened at 11 because I had left my hat there the night before. Whoever was opening the restaurant today (March 15 2019) thought it was ok, because I didn't speak German or Turkish, because I was smiling and asking for my hat, that it was ok to touch my butt as I left the restaurant. I am sending this email in hopes that some action will be taken or at least some awareness that this behaviour is unacceptable and was not at all appropriate. I am disgusted that even in 2019, a woman has to be subjected to this despicable behaviour from a man. I hope he does not behave that way with his female coworkers because I for one would be completely uncomfortable coming to work everyday.

Great place for healthy, delicious and nicely presented food options like wraps, chicken curry, salads. There are vegetarian dishes available as well as meals with chicken and/or beef. Moreover, there are nice smoothies and fresh juices. The concept is that you do self-service: order, get a device and wait till the food is ready. The device vibrates once your order has been prepared. All in all, solid value for money, but do not expect good service.

Sehr unfreundlich + Konzept vom Haendewaschen ist hier unbewusst. Very unfriendly + the stuff works with dirty hands. Also, if you think the food here is healthy, think again! The sauces they use make it equal to the worst junkfood.

Overall nice and good quality, but why rice instead of bulgur and why soooo much salt in the Chicken Tikka Curry?
